AT A GLANCE · 21 October 2026

Soma Bay itineraries: three, five or seven days

These are independent planning suggestions, not bookable packages. Keep lessons and boat days flexible until the operator agrees the session, and leave room for the journeys between activities.

Three days: arrive, explore, then choose one activity

  • Day 1: arrive, settle in and confirm your beach and food arrangements. Keep the first evening near your accommodation.
  • Day 2: choose a beach day or a pre-arranged reef or boat outing, with the operator’s meeting point confirmed.
  • Day 3: fit in a short marina visit or golf lesson only if departure time allows. Keep the airport transfer fixed.

Five days: add a lesson and a flexible day

Keep the activity days flexible until the operators confirm their arrangements. Allow time to change and travel between sessions.

  • Day 1: arrive, settle in and have a meal near your accommodation.
  • Day 2: use your accommodation’s agreed beach, or take a pre-arranged reef or boat outing.
  • Day 3: take a booked kite or wing introduction, or a golf lesson.
  • Day 4: leave room to move an activity if weather changes the plan, or enjoy a slower beach day and a separate marina meal.
  • Day 5: pack and depart, leaving time for the agreed airport transfer.

Seven days: spread activities across the week

Move water days when the operator advises; this order is a planning idea, not a forecast.

  • Day 1: arrive and settle in.
  • Day 2: get to know your accommodation and its beach arrangements.
  • Day 3: take your first booked activity.
  • Day 4: keep a quiet beach or home day.
  • Day 5: choose a second activity or a separate Sharm El Naga outing.
  • Day 6: leave space for a repeat session, a horse ride arranged with the stable, or a marina evening.
  • Day 7: pack and depart.

Adapt the plan to your party

Family version: replace a long outing with one named activity whose age and supervision rules you have checked. Watersports version: book a course with the station, then arrange the rest of the week around its teaching and transfer times. No-car version: confirm both journeys before each outing and keep an evening transport budget. For all versions, keep one alternative that does not depend on a boat or lesson going ahead.
