Use this page to organise the first grocery run, a repair or a guest’s stay. The contacts come from published sources; current service arrangements still need direct confirmation. The checklists below are questions to settle for your own home, not destination-wide rules.

For a specific errand, start with the resident essentials finder. It connects each task to the reviewed listings, practical instructions and the relevant area map.

Before you arrive

• Ask your host or property manager for the exact address, arrival contact and key collection arrangements.
• Agree who will arrange entry for you, your guests and any driver. Keep the contact available for your arrival time.
• Confirm that water, electricity, air conditioning and internet will be ready, and ask who to call if something is not working.
• Save the property manager’s number and a second contact offline. Establish who can help outside office hours.

The first grocery run

Price Choice Supermarket is listed at the marina. Its published hours are 10:00–midnight, from a destination page whose metadata is dated March 2024. Those hours have not been confirmed with the shop. Call before a special trip, particularly if you need a specific item.

Ask whether delivery reaches your address, whether there is a minimum order and which payment methods are accepted. These details are still unknown. The listing’s phone number also appears on a beauty salon source page, so its routing needs a local check.

When something needs repairing

Coral Maintenance lists AC, plumbing, electrical and other home repairs. Its published contact is an email address; an out-of-hours response has not been confirmed.

Before requesting work, send a description and photographs of the problem. Ask about the call-out fee, earliest appointment and who will approve any extra work. If you are away, agree who will let the contractor in and report back. Keep your property manager’s urgent-contact arrangements separate from a routine repair enquiry.

Laundry collection

Somabay Laundry is listed by the destination as a laundry service for hotels, with delivery. Home collection and the service area still need checking. Confirm the pickup address, price and return time before handing anything over. Ask how delicate items are handled and keep a record of what was collected.

Getting around

The transport guide covers the published daytime shuttle route and transport contacts. Confirm your pickup point and return journey before setting out. Evening services and residential pickup arrangements have not been established for this guide.

Before you leave your home empty

Agree a departure checklist with your property manager:

• Who holds a spare key and can authorise access?
• Which water, electrical and air-conditioning settings should be left in place for this property?
• Who will check the home, how often, and how will they report a problem?
• Who can approve a repair, and what spending limit needs your agreement?
• Are any deliveries, laundry collections or contractor visits still outstanding?

Follow the property manager’s and equipment manufacturers’ instructions for your home. The guide has not verified building-specific shutdown procedures.

Owner administration and unresolved contacts

The destination links to a Somabay owner app, but its registration and home-management functions have not been tested for this guide. Ask your property manager which channel applies to guest registration, service charges and repair requests.

Home internet support, utility escalation, parcel collection, ATM locations and alternative supermarkets still need local checks. Pharmacy listings also need reconciliation: the destination publishes two marina entries with the same phone number and different hours. The guide does not confirm their current opening hours, stock or clinical services.

Internet and a working week

National operator products are researched separately from building-specific availability; on-site results and local support still need checking.

Keep a copy offline

The downloadable field guide brings together the original maps, reviewed directory and blank guest, owner and connection sheets. Save it before travelling, then complete the private sheets with your host or manager. Publication dates remain visible; the file is a reference rather than live availability.

Schools and the family week

The schools and childcare comparison covers GISS and Kompass's school-published Somabay programmes, the linked GISS 2026/2027 calendar and unresolved intake details. Settle the child's class, total costs, classroom times and journey from your actual address with the school. A destination shuttle or a school shown on a masterplan does not establish a school run or an available place.

Plan the shopping run and delivery

The groceries and everyday shopping guide adds current destination-published Price Choice details and two retailer-listed Hurghada branches. The supermarket and Beauty Salon still publish the same number. Spinneys' city-level Hurghada delivery information does not establish home coverage in Somabay; check the exact address and agree the handover separately. This 3 October review adds to the earlier grocery notes above, whose source metadata and date remain historical.

Pharmacy errands and household contacts

The pharmacy and care-planning reference compares the marina pages' shared number and different hours, re-read on 3 October. It does not assume two separate counters or current opening. Use its private printable sheet to keep your full property address, host, backup contact and provider details together. National urgent-help information links to the official government reference; the guide does not confirm clinic capabilities or a hospital transfer plan.

Your home between visits

Finding cash nearby

The cash and ATM reference adds eleven CIB-published entries around the peninsula, Ras Soma, the mainland shore, Safaga and Senzo Mall, reviewed on 3 October. The marina branch and standalone marina ATM are separate listings. The bank’s marina pin needs a local check; hotel admission, after-hours access and working cash service remain unresolved. This adds published references to the earlier local-check list above, without claiming that any machine was visited or used.

Plan for the month you will be here

A longer stay needs a household plan as well as a booking. Use the seasonal temperature and daylight reference to compare your arrival month with a later visit, then check the cooling or heating, hot water and indoor working setup in the actual home. The temperature figures are historical Hurghada Airport averages; the daylight series has its own period. Neither is a forecast or a check of your property.
