Emaar Misr’s official Red Sea destination page identifies Marassi Red Sea. The community is separate from Marassi North Coast and from Somabay. When searching for Emaar Red Sea, Marassi Soma Bay or Marassi Hurghada, keep the full project name in the conversation so a property, hotel or meeting point is not assigned to the wrong destination.
This guide introduces the setting and the developer’s current published programme. The September 2026 coffee book linked by Emaar is the principal design reference. It describes a future-facing coastal destination; its images and catalogue do not establish that a particular residence or amenity is open for a stay.

Read the marina vision as a design
The brochure presents beaches, lagoons, marina settings, hospitality and residential communities as connected parts of a coastal programme. The aerial image helps explain the intended atmosphere and relationship to the mountains and water. It is a developer illustration, not a current aerial photograph or a visitor map of completed routes.
For a future home, ask where it sits within the named collection and how the route to the coast or shared space is intended to work. Check the approach by vehicle, the last part on foot and the journey back after dark. A terrace view and a comfortable route to an activity are different qualities.
The atlas provides wider context using separately labelled masterplans and satellite imagery. Approximate alignment is not a surveyed site boundary. For a site visit, obtain the current meeting point from the project team rather than relying on a broad map marker or the apparent centre of an illustrated plan.
The residential names are worth keeping separate
The current community catalogue includes marina apartment collections, Marina Bay Apartments and Water Homes, named villa and townhome collections, and Vida Branded Residences. Names such as Marina Shore, Marina Waterfront and Marina Downtown should not be treated as synonyms for the same accommodation. Ask which collection and exact home your enquiry concerns.
For a future stay, request the home’s actual sleeping arrangements, kitchen, cooling, laundry, internet and outdoor allocation. For an inspection, establish whether the visit concerns a show property, a construction stage or the selected unit. A destination-wide image cannot supply the inventory of an individual home.
A water-facing product also deserves a route check: where you enter, where you can walk and which facilities serve the collection. A marina or lagoon in a project name does not establish permission to use a boat, swim in a particular waterbody or enter a neighbouring hotel. Those arrangements belong to the responsible operator and property documents.
Vida is in the current published material
The September 2026 coffee book names Vida Hotel and Branded Residences, and Emaar’s community catalogue includes Vida Branded Residences. We distinguish that published concept from an operating hotel or a confirmed accommodation booking. A hotel brand in the programme is useful information, but it does not settle an opening date or what a resident may use.
If you are considering a branded home, ask which services are contractual and whether they are compulsory, how charges are set and what rules apply to guests and personal use. A brochure image does not establish a letting programme or a hotel facility entitlement. Obtain the applicable terms for the particular property.
Location and an inspection visit
Emaar places the development on the Red Sea coast near Hurghada and publishes a location link. Confirm the actual appointment address and access instructions directly. A sales centre, site entrance and future residential gate may be different places, and a brochure journey estimate is not a guarantee for an airport transfer.
Before travelling, save the contact, meeting time, entrance and instructions for a delay. Ask whether you will need registration and where the driver should stop. Our arrival checklist helps frame the questions, but the project team must supply the current site arrangements.
If you are staying elsewhere while visiting, plan the return as a separate trip. A neighbouring destination or hotel may have its own entry rules. Marassi Red Sea does not become part of the Somabay peninsula because an advertisement uses Soma Bay as a regional reference.
Future facilities and an ordinary day
Emaar describes a broader programme of beaches, lagoons, marinas, clubs, sports, leisure, wellness, shopping and dining. To plan around it, ask which component is relevant to your collection, its expected delivery stage and the admission arrangement. The programme should not be read as a directory of currently operating venues.
For a future resident, ordinary services deserve the same attention as the leisure picture. Work out groceries, deliveries, household repairs, internet, keys and property care. Establish who manages the individual home and who handles the community, and ask what is expected to be in place when the home is handed over.
